She summoned the Thunder
          .............the Lightening
          .............the Wind
Set each in place with a word of power

          The murmured litany sounded harmless
          Serene even
          Like a cats purr
on a stone cold icy night

          Yet mere mortals shivered
          and hunched their shoulders
Like someone pelted by wind driven sleet

For some this would be a long dark night
As the Lady Of The Myst angered and irate
          would retaliate in kind

Later the storm will calm to a gentle breeze.
Catching your sail she will guide you to
a place where her passions run deep.
That place where her heart aches for the loves long lost,
sings for the love ever present,
and yearns for the loves not yet known.

Silencing her inner torment she paints the pretty rainbows.
Arching over the horizon you will see her smiles.
Prisms of light, ribbons of beauty.
          Fleeting but always memorable.

To hear her lullabyes of love on the wind,
you must listen with your heart.
Her words, often thunderous and bold
          designed to keep much hidden,
will conceal the true measure of her sensitivity.

          She is beautiful to observe.
Captivated as that all consuming power
ripples through the clouds, she is stronger than the elements.
          Sustaining her calm, standing firm,
          she remains centered and serene.
Watching as the storm takes its toll,
she fears naught, as she knows,
sooner than later the storm will spend.

Diminishing in its intensity, as it always will,
the rains mingle with her tears.
Maybe she cries for the wild abandon.
Maybe she cries for the calm she knows will be tested again.
          We may never know....
          Forever the elusive one......
          She disappears into the Myst........
